- Well here we are (At Last), and Loving our Life "On Our Mission At Temple Square", in Beautiful Salt Lake City, Utah! We can hardly believe that we are Finally here, after the many years of preparation! We are SO delighted and happy about this, that we want to share it ALL with our Family and Friends! So, feel free to browse around and check out our "Missionary Blog", and leave a comment or two if you desire! We hope you enjoy following our "Adventures" during the next 18 months! 12-16-07 - time for a little update here. Our mission is already in it's 8th of 18 months. Time is flying by too quickly. Every day we love what we do more, and are wondering what we're going to do in 10 months when we go home! We just keep trying to get the most out of each day, and each event.

Lodi Reunion in Alpine July 28th
We were so happy to get to go to the Lodi Reunion, hosted by our former Stake President Jerry Bingham, and his sweet wife Mary. Just had to prove that we were there with this picture. Got to see lots of wonderful friends that have moved to Utah over the past 25 years, and visit with them for the afternoon. Next Reunion in 3 years.

Yes, as usual, our Dear Bishop Bryan Burr and his wonderful wife Gayle were hard at work, passing out delicious things they had made in their fantastic "Cook Wagon" for us to enjoy. Didn't they spoil us to pieces when they were the Bishop's Family? Well, they still haven't quit. Still working hard for all of us. Thank you so much Bryan and Gayle. The food was wonderful as usual. We Love you and your family so much!

Old Concord Friends visited The Square in July
Bob and Rhea Horrocks, who now live in St. George, stopped by to say hello while in town on July 24th celebrating Pioneer Day. Pioneer Day is a very big deal in Salt Lake. Also is called The Days of 47', (meaning 1847) which is the day Brigham Young led the first group of Pioneers into the valley. We celebrate this occasion Big Time here in Utah! So nice to see you often lately! Thanks for your support and for stopping in. :)

The Prophet and His Counselors
This picture is hanging in the Relief Society Building, and we took a picture of it when we were touring the building the other day. It looks a little fuzzy, so I will change it for a better one when I get it. But for those of you who don't know it, this is the Prophet of our Church in the Middle. His name is Gordon B. Hinckley, and he just turned 97, and is sharp as a tack. On his left is Thomas S. Monson, who is his First Counselor, and on the right is James E. Faust, who is the Second Counselor.
